A Note About Dairy and Gluten Free Recipes
A
Note About These Dairy and Gluten Free Recipes
All
the recipes in the “Gluten and Dairy Free” section were adapted from recipes
that contained wheat and dairy, and they can easily be “reset” to their original
form with a few common-sense changes. First, replace any margarine with butter.
Second, wherever you see an ingredient labeled “dairy free” (such as cheese),
use the natural dairy version. So, soy milk becomes cow’s milk. Dairy-free sour
cream becomes sour cream. And so on. The same applies to any “gluten free” ingredients
like flour. Just switch them out for the
more common ingredients to return to the original recipes.
